The Lock is a new feature introduced in the update 1.12.1. The lock feature allows the player to lock anything in their inventory from being sold if you use the sell anywhere and sell features. The Lock Feature can be used by right-clicking on an item (PC), double tapping on a item (Mobile), or pressing a button (Xbox).

This feature can be used to your advantage if you need items to store but cannot place them in your Aquarium, such as Whale Heart, Whale Teeth, and any rare fish you want to keep in your inventory.
